Match kick-off Thursday, April 16th 18:15 at the Thani bin Jassim stadium.

Al Sailiya head coach Sami Trabelsi:
I want to congratulate Lekhwiya for winning the title and also congratulate Al Rayyan on their return to the first division.

As for us, we are trying to finish our season with a good result by winning this game.
It doesn't matter if we play against Lekhwiya's first team or second team. Our goal is to try and take the three points and finish the season on a positive note.

As for our season so far, I think we have to forget about it. I am not satisfied with the results.

I hope to continue with the team and if I stay we have a strategy to find new players.
As for the Emir cup, I hope we get to the final again. But we can do that only if we make fewer mistakes. During the season we have made mistakes which cost us many games. We have good offensive players and we work well in patches. But in defense we have a lot of problems. We have to play with a lot of concentration in the Cup. There was a lot of emotion in the team when we got to the final last year and we hope that we repeat that performance this time around.

One of our biggest mistakes this season has been our performance inside the box. I have been telling my team that in the box, the most important factor is the player and not the ball. My players are always looking for the ball and forget about the players. We committed a lot of simple mistakes like that.

I still have one year in my contract. There is good relationship between me and Sailiya and of course our ambition is to have a team that can play for silverware. I never wanted my team to be in this position. I wanted my team to play well and get plenty of results. To have this you need good players and a bigger squad. I personally too have made mistakes. So we will hope to reduce that next season.

Lekhwiya head coach Michael Laudrup
We have had a great run in the league this season. Most of it has been a head to head battle with Al Sadd. Before Christmas, they were five points ahead but then we came back and we won the league five points ahead of them. This has been a fantastic season for us in the league.

The other thing you can see if you look at the numbers is that it was a tough season. Last season when we won the league we had 53 points and Jaish had 48. This season with one game remaining we have already taken 58 points. We have gotten more points this season as compared to the last. That gives an indication of how much harder it has been this season.

This season we had two competitions for the national team, the GCC Cup and both us and Sadd have had many players playing for these competitions and our performance goes on to show how well these two teams have done this season. And now in the last game if we can win or even draw we will touch 60 points in a season and that would be incredible.

Having won the title, there is a chance that our performance might drop because we will be playing without pressure. So it is most important for us to maintain a high level of performance against Sailiya. It's not important to win but we should get at least a draw from this game. We lost our last game in February which is a long time ago. So it is very important for us to maintain our level.

It is true we will miss very important players like Karim Boudiaf, Msakni but we will have Sebastian Soria, Nam Tae-Hee and Vladimir Weiss back. And it is also a chance for other players who haven’t done well to step up.

This is not about how this title ranks. It is about how difficult it was. There were a lot of challenges this season. We had national competitions. We had players injured. It was very, very tough. We came back from five points behind. It's only because we were strong as a team. You can't compare with the Spanish League or the Premier League. This was tough because there were many things that we had to deal with during the season. Lots of bumps on the road you could say.

I have always been driven by winning. Otherwise as a player I would have not have played for 15 years in top clubs. To stay up there we needed to have the hunger to keep winning. But just for a few days we have to enjoy our title. Because after that we then have many games lined up with the ACL, Qatar Cup, and then the Emir Cup.
