Al Gharafa’s Humam Al Ameen has been named as the QNB Stars League’s Best Under-23 Player for the months of November and December, 2020, according to STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the QNB Stars League.

During the period, Humam played six matches (Weeks 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11), with a total of 576.52 minutes on the pitch, and scored two goals besides giving one assist.

He played a key role in Al Gharafa’s number of victories that included a 3-0 win over reigning champions Al Duhail in Week 6, 6-3 win over Al Khor in Week 7, 4-0 win over Al Ahli in Week 8 and 1-0 win over Al Wakrah in Week 10.

The Cheetahs lost 1-4 to Al Sadd in Week 9 and played out a 1-1 draw with Umm Salal in Week 11.

It may be noted that Humam had received the same award for the months of September and October, 2020, and that underlines his great potential.
