Al Sadd and Al Ahli are set to compete in a challenging semifinal of the Qatar Cup 2025 at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. The kick-off is at 7pm.

This match represents a significant showdown between two prominent teams, both with strong aspirations to reach the final and vie for the Glorious Cup.

Al Sadd approach the match as newly-crowned champions of 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League with 52 points, while Al Ahli concluded the season in fourth place with 35 points.

In their previous Ooredoo Stars League meetings, the teams played out a 2-2 draw in the first leg, but Al Sadd dominated the reversed fixture, winning 5-0.

Both teams feature a selection of notable players who are capable of delivering impressive performances. Al Sadd are banking on their offensive strengths, highlighted by talents such as Rafa Mujica, Akram Afif, Claudinho and Hassan Al Haydous, among others.
