Qatar SC face Al Rayyan in Week 10 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 18:15 at the Qatar SC Stadium on Friday, 24th December, 2021.

Qatar SC are seventh in the table with nine points (two wins, three draws and four defeats).

Moroccan Youssef Safri-coached Qatar SC have the same number of points as Umm Salal and Al Rayyan, but are placed behind Umm Salal and above Al Rayyan on goal difference.

The Kings have a goal difference of -3 (nine goals for and 12 against).

Laurent Blanc-coached Al Rayyan also registered two victories, three draws and four defeats, and have a goal difference of -5 (13 goals for and 18 against).

Qatar SC will miss Youcef Belaili, whose contract with the club was recently ended by mutual consent. The Algerian, who played a key role at Qatar SC, was one of the stars at the FIFA Arab Cup. But they have the services of Sebastian Soria, Omar Al Emadi, Issa Ahmed, Javi Martinez, Djamel Benlamri and Bashar Resan.

The Al Rayyan ranks include the likes of Algerian attacking midfielder, who was adjudged the best player at the just-concluded FIFA Arab Cup, Yohan Boli, Ahmed Yasser, Abdulaziz Hatem, Dame Traore, Mowafaq Awad and Mohammed Juma.

Meanwhile, Qatar SC bowed out of the 2021-2022 season Ooredoo Cup after finishing third in Group B, whereas Al Rayyan advanced to the knockout semifinals as the second team from Group A, behind Al Wakrah.
