Al Arabi face Qatar SC in Round 9 (Group B) of the 2021-2022 season Ooredoo Cup. The kick-off is at 18:10 at the Al Khor Stadium on Wednesday.

Al Arabi are third in the group with nine points.

Even though Al Arabi have the same number of points as leaders Al Sailiya and second-placed Al Khor, they lagged behind on goal difference (+1) as against Al Sailiya’s +8 and Al Khor’s +2.

Al Arabi, under former Qatar international Younes Ali who has been adjudged as the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League’s Best Coach for the months of October and November, have played seven matches (two wins, three draws and two defeats). They have scored 12 goals and conceded 11.

Al Arabi had lost 1-2 to Al Gharafa in Round 8.

Qatar SC, who did not feature in the last round as per the tournament format, are last in the group with seven points (two wins, one draw and three defeats) from six games.

The Kings have a goal difference of -8 (eight goals for and 16 against).
