Al Wakrah face Al Gharafa in Week 5 of 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Khalifa International Stadium, with kick-off being scheduled for 8pm.

Al Wakrah head into the match in 10th place with two points, a position that does not reflect their ambitions. They will be determined to turn their fortunes around and claim their first victory of the campaign after being held to a 1-1 draw by Al Shamal in the previous round.

Al Gharafa are ninth with four points and are similarly eager to return to winning ways. They dropped points in their last outing after being held to a 0-0 draw by promoted side Lusail and will be looking to make up for that setback.

With both teams desperate for three points, the encounter is expected to be an engaging and closely-contested affair.
