Qatar SC coach Younis Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Gharafa.
“We are looking forward to continue our good form in the second leg of the tournament. Now we have to face Al Gharafa, who are considered as a strong team and the proof of it is their second place in the standings.
“Our preparations went off well, as is the case for all previous matches, and we are looking forward to appearing in the best way in order to impose our style on the field to achieve the desired result. The good thing is that the team does not suffer from any absences and therefore we look forward to providing everything we have so that the team is in the distinguished position it deserves.
“About Iraqi Bashar Resan joining the team’s ranks, I would say his presence is an important addition to our team and the league in general, as he had performed well for his former club Persepolis of Iran, who are Asian runners-up. This is an extension of the excellent player contracts that Qatar SC have made this season,” said Younis.
Qatar SC player Issa Ahmed said, “We have to face Al Gharafa with respect, based on our ambition to win points, and I take this opportunity to extend our thanks and gratitude to our loyal fans, who are the most important motivation for us. We wish they continue to support us.”
