Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Rayyan.

“What makes the encounter more difficult is that Al Rayyan are playing to win as part of their attempt to compete for the top, and it is a strong and excellent team that has high-level players. They always remain as one of the big clubs in the Qatar league. Therefore, the match will not be easy. Especially since we are not in our best conditions of late.

“But at the same time, I trust the group of players who are with us and we believe in their ability to achieve a positive result, especially since we put up strong performances against big teams, and it will be a difficult match for both teams.

“There is no room for complacency and we should not waste points. And there is no time to compensate, especially since we are at the start of the second leg of the league. We must utilise our chances to be among the among teams and we must be in our full focus and at the best level in order to achieve positive results in the next games,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Mohammed Mudathir said, “A strong and difficult match awaits us against Al Rayyan. For us, victory is necessary in this match in order to be in an advanced position in the league and all the upcoming matches for us are like cup matches.

“We always appear at a distinguished level against big teams such as Al Rayyan, Al Sadd and Al Duhail, and we have the ability to achieve a positive result and collect the three points at the start of the second leg in order to maintain our chances of finishing in the top four of the QNB Stars League.”
