Al Sadd Sports Club will convene a press conference this Thursday to introduce the world renowned superstar Xavi Hernandez to the fans and media. More details of the deal will also be announced as the midfielder is set to make his debut in the Qatar Stars League next season.

It is expected that the Spanish star will undergo a medical on Tuesday morning in Aspetar, the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital.

The press conference is to be held at the club’s headquarters and will commence at 5pm.

The former Barcelona player achieved three titles this season with Barcelona following the win over Juventus in the 2015 UEFA Champions League final. He also won La Liga and Copa del Rey.
