Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 21 match against Umm Salal.

“This match is very important for both teams, especially since we both strive to improve our positions in the table. We know that our strengths lie in defensive play and the formation of good defensive bloc.

“We are looking to improve our position in the ranking table, we have two matches in which we seek to win the six points, reach the best possible position for us and finish the season well.

“There is no doubt that pressure and lack of time between matches are a problem for all clubs except for some clubs that have a large squad of players and are not affected by the level of physical factor or absences. But for the rest of the clubs, of course there is suffering, but we are at the end of the season,” said Trabelsi.

Abdulrahman Mohammed said, “The match against Umm Salal is very difficult, especially since they are trying to avoid having to play the relegation play-off with Second Division runners-up.

“The team is currently at the top of its focus for this match and in complete readiness, and we see it as a very important game. We seek to continue victories and obtain the three points in order to improve our position in the league table.”
