Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 19 match against Al Duhail.
“We are facing a difficult match against Al Duhail. They are one of the best teams in Asia that includes distinguished players at the domestic level as well. Al Duhail offer great levels and have achieved good results recently. I hope we will be fully focused and we always have the determination to enter the big clashes with enthusiasm. We are determined to provide the best and achieve a positive result.
“The psychological factor has a great influence in some matches, the team is realistic in a balanced performance and with a high degree of focus. On other occasions, we see the team lacking focus and discipline.
“I always tell my players that our strength and good results lie in team work and not relying on individual game. There is a possibility of reaching the top four. We are doing our best regardless of any analysis that someone can do about our recent matches. There is something clear to everyone, which is that we will fight until the last moment and mathematically, we still have hope and we are sticking to it,” said Trabelsi.
Al Sailiya player Ghanem Al Qahtani said, “Our preparations have gone well to face Al Duhail. This preparation did not differ much from the preparation for the rest of the matches due to the lack of sufficient break. Al Duhail are a strong team that has players at the highest level and facing them is always difficult, but it is not impossible to win against them. We have the ambition to get into the top four.”
