Al Khor coach Frederic Hantz spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Duhail.

“We must do everything we can to score points in this match. Al Duhail are a dangerous team and can cause us problems from all sides. Therefore, we must be careful and double our efforts. This match will be completely different from our last game against Al Wakrah.

“Our team made an excellent effort against Al Wakrah and that was what we were looking for. Now I feel the development in the team’s level and we are looking for the best.

“A few weeks ago, we conceded a lot of goals, but in the Al Wakrah match we did not concede any goal. We must maintain this spirit and strategy in the team because without them we will not achieve any positive results. We must improve more on the offensive front. I have full confidence that we will play a good game against Al Duhail,” said Hantz.

Al Khor player Musab Abdulmajeed said, “The team is 100 per cent ready to face Al Duhail in order to win and collect the three points. We have prepared for our match against Al Duhail normally, but we know that Al Duhail have excellent individual and collective capabilities, and have not reached their known level. For that matter, we, as a team, also have not yet reached our best level. God willing, we will be ready and present our best.

“We have ambitions to achieve better positions in the league and we hope that we will produce a positive result in this match.”
