Qatar SC coach Younis Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 10 match against Al Ahli.

“A strong match awaits us against Al Ahli, who were once leaders of the league. We have another strong match coming up against current leaders Al Sadd in Week 11. This period will not be easy at all and requires us to double our efforts and play with focus and enthusiasm to achieve the best results.

“Our ambitions are growing as time passes by and our policy in the team is to deal with each match separately.

“Our players deserve all the credit and appreciation for their efforts. I would like to point out that we do not make any promises to the fans and management except that we strive and work to offer our best. We seek to build on the positive results and raise the level of the team to make it comfortable in keeping pace with our  competitors,” said Younis.

Qatar SC player Yousef Amin said, “Team work and harmony among the squad members have helped us a lot and there is a great desire among all players to achieve the best results.

“Al Ahli are a big team with good players and a high level technically. As far as we are concerned, we are working to implement the instructions of our technical staff by preparing for each match as a final. We always strive to win and collect more points and we seek to build on the positive results.”
