Al Khor coach Winfried Schaefer spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 21 match against Al Duhail.

“I would like to thank my team for their effort in the previous match in which they fought till the last minute. But we were unlucky. However, we are definitely working now to build a strong team for the future. We will fight all the way in the last two matches against Al Duhail and Al Rayyan. 

“Al Duhail are a very strong team not here in Qatar but in Asia in general. We know very well that a difficult match awaits us and we enter this match with the goal of achieving victory. We presented a good game two days ago and now we're playing a game against Al Duhail. We have prepared well. We have six points available to us and we must save the season and perform to the required level,” said Schafer.

Al Khor player Ali Nader said, “We still have two matches though with equal set of difficulties. We know that Al Duhail have match pressure this month and perhaps they may rest some players, but this does not mean the task will be easy for us. 

“Al Duhail have many strong factors and we are ready for this clash. There are no specific areas to focus on in the Al Duhail clash, but we are ready and we will fight to get the three important points. We got ready in a short time as we know the importance of this match.”
