The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held a Technical Meeting ahead of the 2021 Qatar Cup final, to be played between Al Duhail and Al Sadd at the Al Duhail Stadium on Friday, 26th February, 2021. The kick-off is at 16:45.

The meeting was held online in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Salman Al Adsani, Director of Competitions Department at the QSL, Mr. Ismail Ahmed, representative of Al Duhail club and Mr. Mohamed Saeed, representative of Al Sadd club in addition to Mr. Khamis Al Kuwari, representative of the Referees Department of Qatar Football Association.

Mr. Al Adsani welcomed all attendees and congratulated both clubs on reaching the final.

The meeting discussed the following aspects:

- The need for everyone to adhere to the approved official procedures and medical protocol for Coronavirus (Covid-19) and organisational aspects as well as match-day procedures.

- Importance of meeting deadlines to reach the venue on match days.

- Jersey colours were determined for each team – Al Duhail to play in full red colour and Al Sadd in full black colour.

The tournament’s rules and regulations stipulate that if the regular time ends in a draw, penalty shoot-out will be straightaway resorted to without extra time.
