Sailiya defeat hapless Kharitiyat
Two goals in ten minutes ensured that Al Sailiya registered a 2-1 victory over relegation threatened Al Kharitiyat on Friday evening at Al Ahli stadium.

Goals from winter signing Carlos Preciado & Bahraini Fawzy Aiish gave Sailiya a deserved win, despite a late fightback from Al Kharitiyat.

Al Kharitiyat fought back into the tie on the 69th minute, with Yahia Kebe. The Burkina Faso international swept in from close range after a good run from Issar Dia. However Sailiya held out the remainder of the tie, to grab all three points.
