Not a single position changed in the QNB Stars League standings even as Al Sadd and Al Duhail had ensured the first and second place respectively ahead of the start of the round.
Al Kharaitiyat were officially relegated to the Second Division despite beating Al Arabi 2-1 as it was too late for them.
Al Arabi stood on 26 points.
With only one round remaining, Al Kharaitiyat have only 12 points, four points adrift of 11th-placed Al Khor, who drew 1-1 with Al Duhail (44 points) and will play the relegation play-off with Second Division runners-up.
New champions Al Sadd extended their domination of Al Rayyan this season by beating them 2-1 in the high-profile Qatar Clasico, which was the pick of the games.
The Wolves had won the first-leg Qatar Clasico 1-0.
Al Sadd and Al Rayyan are on 57 and 34 points respectively.
Umm Salal celebrated their 1-o win over Al Sailiya as they thus avoided having to play the relegation play-off.
Umm Salal moved on to 21 points, while Al Sailiya stood on 26 points.
Qatar SC and Al Ahli played out a 1-1 draw in another match to move on to 32 and 33 points respectively.
Al Gharafa’s match against Al Wakrah in Week 21, originally scheduled for 6th April, was rescheduled and played at the Al Gharafa Stadium on 16th March, 2021, in view of their 2021 AFC Champions League play-off against Uzbekistan’s FC AGMK played in Doha on 7th April, 2021, for a berth in the tournament proper.
Al Gharafa lost both matches, 0-2 to Al Wakrah and 0-1 to FC AGMK.
