16:00 kick-off at Al Sadd Stadium

Al Gharafa face Al Sadd in Week 20 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:00 at the Al Sadd Stadium on Saturday, 3rd April, 2021.

Al Gharafa are currently placed fifth with 30 points (nine wins, three draws and eight defeats). They have a goal difference of +5 (36 goals for and 31 against).

Al Gharafa had played their Week 21 match against Al Wakrah and lost by a 0-2 margin on 16th March. The Cheetahs had lost 1-3 to Al Ahli in Week 19 before the QNB Stars League took a break and 2020-21 season Ooredoo Cup’s semifinals and final were played in between.

The Al Gharafa vs Al Wakrah match was originally scheduled for 6th April along with other Week 21 games, but was rescheduled in view of Al Gharafa’s play-off with Uzbekistan’s FC AGMK in Doha on 7th April, 2021, for a berth in the 2021 AFC Champions League group stage.

Meanwhile, Al Gharafa had lost 3-0 to Al Rayyan in the Ooredoo Cup semifinal played on 20th March.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s wards will be keen to storm back into the top four in the QNB Stars League table by putting it across Al Sadd, who were already crowned champions after the Week 18 action following their 3-0 victory over Umm Salal.

Al Sadd, coached by Spanish great Xavi Hernandez, thus lifted the coveted league shield for a record-extending 15th time in their history by taking an unassailable lead over their rivals. In the process, The Wolves remained as the only unbeaten team in the league so far.

Al Sadd, who were held 1-1 by Al Wakrah in Week 19, have 51 points (16 victories and three draws), and have a goal difference of +57 (70 goals for and 13 against).

Al Sadd had beaten Al Gharafa 4-1 in the first leg of 2020-21 season QNB Stars League.
