Al Kharaitiyat face Al Gharafa in Week 15 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:30 at the Al Ahli Stadium on Wednesday, 20th January, 2021.

Al Kharaitiyat’s woes further compounded when they crashed 0-2 to Al Sailiya in Week 14, their 12th defeat (the most number of losses by any team) in this season’s championship. The Thunders, coached by ex-Qatar international midfielder Wesam Rizik, now face an uphill task in their bid to stay in the top flight.

Al Kharaitiyat have six points from two victories. Their goal difference is -26 (nine goals for and 35 against), the worst by any team.

Meanwhile, Al Gharafa are in a comfortable position. They improved from fourth to third place in the table with 24 points after drawing 1-1 with Al Arabi in Week 14. Jonathan Kodjia’s penalty conversion right at the death helped The Cheetahs seal a hard-fought draw.

Al Gharafa, under the tutelage of Slavisa Jokanovic, have registered seven wins, three draws and four defeats with a goal difference of +8 (29 goals for and 21 against).
