Umm Salal face Al Wakrah in Week 14 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:15 at the Qatar SC Stadium on Wednesday, 13th January, 2021.

Umm Salal are on a high as they got back on track by defeating Al Khor 1-0 in Week 13. The Orange Fortress had suffered their first defeat in five games when they lost 0-1 to holders Al Duhail in Week 12.

Umm Salal once occupied the bottom position, but a string of positive results of late has helped them and they are now ninth with 13 points.

Aziz Ben Askar-coached side has three victories, four draws and six defeats against their name with a goal difference of -8 (eight goals for and 16 against).

Al Wakrah and Umm Salal swapped positions after last week’s results, which saw the former lose 1-8 to reigning champions Al Duhail.

The Blue Wave, under Marquez Lopez, are 10th in the table with 13 points (four wins, one draw and eight defeats). They have a goal difference of -11 (13 goals for and 24 against).

Both Al Wakrah and Umm Salal have the same number of points, but the latter are placed ahead on better goal difference.

Al Wakrah had beaten Umm Salal 2-0 in the first leg of 2020-21 season QNB Stars League.
