Al Rayyan face Qatar SC in Week 14 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:15 at the Al Sadd Stadium on Tuesday, 12th January, 2021.

Al Rayyan, now under famous French coach Laurent Blanc, will be eager to continue their winning ways and break into the top four. The Lions stood in the sixth place with 19 points despite defeating Al Gharafa (2-1) in Week 13.

Last season’s runners-up Al Rayyan have five wins, four draws and as many defeats against their name with a goal difference of +2 (14 goals for and 12 against).

Qatar SC are also on a high, having been back to winning ways following two drawn encounters. The Kings defeated Al Kharaitiyat 3-1 in Week 13 following their 1-1 draw against Al Sadd in Week 11 and 2-2 draw against Al Gharafa in Week 12. Prior to those drawn games, Younes Ali-coached side have had an incredible run that saw them register five successive victories.

Qatar SC are now placed third with 23 points (seven wins, two draws and four defeats). Their goal difference is +10 (23 goals for and 13 against).

Qatar SC and Al Gharafa have the same number of points, but the former are placed above on better goal difference (+10 as against Al Gharafa’s +8).
