Al Sadd face Al Sailiya in Week 13 of the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:15 at the Al Sadd Stadium on Thursday, 7th January, 2021.

Al Sadd had extended their brilliant run into the second leg of the tournament with a 5-0 victory over Al Kharaitiyat in Week 12. The Wolves have 32 points, eight more than second-placed team and reigning champions Al Duhail. They have a goal difference of +33 (42 goals for and nine against).

Al Sadd have 10 victories to their credit, the most by any team, and Xavi Hernandez’s men are the only unbeaten side thus far in the tournament, having drawn two other fixtures.

Al Sailiya are placed eighth with 15 points. The Peregrines have four wins, three draws and five defeats against their name with a goal difference of -4 (15 goals for and 19 against).

Sami Trabelsi’s men had overcome a slump in form by pulling off a 2-0 win over Al Rayyan in Week 12.

Al Sailiya have the likes of Mohanad Ali and Tiago Bezerra besides new recruits Ramin Rezaien and Rami Fayez, while Al Sadd, who were without the services of Akram Afif, Boualem Khoukhi and Pedro Miguel last week, have players such as Ali Asad and Rodrigo Tabata apart from Salem Al Hajri, who has returned from a long injury layoff.
