The kick-off is at 18:45 at the Al Sadd Stadium on Thursday, 7th January, 2021.</p><p>Sparks are bound to fly on and off the pitch when two of the traditional rivals and big clubs in Qatar football face off.</p><p>Al Rayyan will be more keen than ever to improve their performance as they have lost two of the three matches they played under Frenchman Laurent Blanc.</p><p>The Lions are placed sixth with 16 points (four wins, draws and defeats each). Their goal difference is +1 (12 goals for and 11 against).</p><p>Al Gharafa are in third position with 23 points (seven wins, two draws and three defeats). The Cheetahs, under Slavisa Jokanovic, have a goal difference of +9 (27 goals for and 18 against).</p><p>Al Gharafa’s ranks include Ivorian striker Jonathan Kodjia, Humam Al Ameen (who was recently adjudged the Best Under-23 Player of 2020-21 season QNB Stars League for the months of November and December), Ahmed Alaaeldin and Sofiane Hanni, whiloe Al Rayyan boast of Ivorian striker Yohan Boli and Yacine Brahimi.</p><p>Al Rayyan lost 0-2 to Al Sailiya, while Al Gharafa were locked in a 2-2 draw with Qatar SC in Week 12.</p><p>Al Rayyan had beaten Al Gharafa 3-1 in the first leg of 2020-21 season QNB Stars League.</p>
