The kick-off is at 16:00 at the Al Ahli Stadium on Wednesday, 23rd December, 2020.</p><p>Both teams are in a precarious position and coming off defeats in the last round by an identical 0-2 margin, Al Kharaitiyat and Al Arabi losing to Al Ahli and Al Duhail respectively.</p><p>Al Arabi, coached by Heimir Hallgrimsson, also have to put behind the disappointment of suffering a 1-2 defeat at the hands of Al Sadd in the Amir Cup final played at the newly-inaugurated Ahmed bin Ali 2022 FIFA World Cup Stadium of Al Rayyan club on Qatar’s National Day on Friday.</p><p>Al Kharaitiyat and Al Arabi are also the two bottom-placed teams (both on six points), but the latter are better placed on goal difference (-10 as against the former’s -14.</p><p>Al Kharaitiyat scored six goals and conceded 20, whereas Al Arabi scored nine goals and conceded 19.</p><p>Al Kharaitiyat have registered two victories and seven defeats, while Al Arabi have one win, three draws and five losses.</p><p>Al Kharaitiyat coach Yousef Adam will rely more on players like Rachid Tiberkanine and Evans Mensah to score against the Al Arabi goalpost manned by Mahmoud Abunada.</p>
