Al Duhail’s goalkeeper Salah Zakariya has been named as the QNB Stars League’s Best Under-23 Player for the month of January, 2021, according to STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the QNB Stars League.

During the period, Salah played four matches (Weeks 12, 13, 14 and 15), with a total of 382.27 minutes on the pitch.

He played a key role as Al Duhail won two games, while drawing one and losing the other.

Al Duhail defeated Umm Salal 1-0 in Week 12 and Al Wakrah 8-1 in Week 13. However, reigning champions The Red Knights lost 1-3 to leaders Al Sadd in Week 14 before being held 1-1 by Qatar SC in Week 15.

Al Duhail are now second in the 2020-21 season QNB Stars League with 28 points.

The technical analysis of Salah, one of the best goalkeepers and Under-23 players in Qatar, showed he kept a clean sheet in one match, conceded five goals and made six difficult saves with a percentage of 58.8.
