Al Shamal face Al Ahli at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium of Al Rayyan club in Week 6 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League on Friday, September 27, 2024. The kick-off is at 6pm.
Each team will play to achieve victory and seize the three points, and each of them are capable of winning based on the technical levels and strong performance that they both have presented so far in the league.
Al Shamal are coming from an exciting 2-1 victory over Al Khor in Week 5 and occupy the sixth place in the standings with seven points from two wins, as many losses and a draw. They have scored seven goals and conceded as many.
On the other hand, Al Ahli are coming from an exciting 3-3 draw against Al Arabi in the last round and were the closest to snatching the three points, but Tunisian star Yousef Msakni equalized for Al Arabi in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
The Brigadiers occupy second place in the standings with 11 points from three wins and two draws and without any losses like Al Duhail. These two are the only teams not to suffer any loss so far. Al Ahli have scored nine goals and conceded six.
