Al Sailiya assistant coach Amine Farikha spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Umm Salal.

“We are getting ready for an important match when we face Umm Salal. Our team seeks to win and collect the three points. The upcoming match is important for both sides, especially Al Sailiya. We have to improve our position in the league standings.

“We need to collect points for the next two matches - against Umm Salal and Qatar SC - before the break. Winning the two matches will have a positive impact for us. It will be great to get out of the series of negative results.

“Everyone in Al Sailiya knows the difficulty of our situation. I hope the Umm Salal match will be the beginning of the team starting to get positive results,” said Amine.

Al Sailiya player Abdullah Mahmoud said, “Our match against Umm Salal is very important. It will be a strong clash for both sides, but we must focus well in order to achieve our goal. Our goal is to get the three points to improve our position on the points table.
