Al Khor coach Frederic Hantz spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 8 match against Qatar SC.

“Our team is looking forward to winning three points from this match despite the strength of the competitors who are in their best conditions presently, having won their last two league matches over Al Wakrah and Al Arabi.

“Our preparations went off well, our preparations were different, and we have confidence that we will have a reaction in this match, and our ambition is to win against Qatar SC. I trust my players to react against them.

“We must think carefully after our last match against Al Gharafa, which we lost by a 3-6 margin. We do not want that to happen again, so we had to work and strive more.

“After the recent loss, we had to make some changes, as this loss was not normal and there are certain reasons. We had to analyse these problems and then work on them, and we are now ready to face Qatar SC after this good period in which we prepared the team. We must do our best,” said Hantz.

Al Khor player Abdullah Al Arimi said, “We had plenty of time to prepare for the Qatar SC match and this is what will help us be excellent for 90 minutes. I know that Qatar SC are a good side, but we are able to collect three points.

“I hope to present myself in the best way with the team and appear in a way that satisfies the fans and club management, especially as we have excellent players and a united team.”
