Al Sailiya’s goalkeeping coach Hisham Al Jaziri spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 17 match against Al Khor.

“Facing Al Khor will not be easy. We are facing a difficult team. We have to be ready and play with the ideal mentality to win the three points. Facing Al Khor, without a doubt, will not be easy. They are a strong team with strong offensive line. They are an excellent and organized team, and have great experience. We know them well, but I am confident of my team that we will present a good and strong match.

“We have to take advantage of the weaknesses of the opposing team so that we can overcome challenges to find our way back to the top four. When Al Sailiya break into the top four, it will not be easy to push us out.

“We, in Al Sailiya, always rely on team play and the coach always tries to work on finding solutions when absences occur especially since the absent players have great value in the team. But, at Al Sailiya, every player wants to play. Every player in the team represents strength and absences sometimes motivate the substitute player to provide the best,” said Hisham.

Al Sailiya player Abdullah Mahmoud said, “I will admit Al Khor match will not be easy and we must focus on presenting our best in order to win and collect the three points. I am happy with the opportunity the coach gave me and I hope to be the real addition that the coach needs from me. I hope I can have an impact on helping the team get positive results. I aspire to be with the team to achieve a better position. And personally, I always want to develop as a player.”
