Umm Salal coach Aziz Ben Askar spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 19 match against Al Kharaitiyat.

“I had told the players that we must be ready for this match. Even though we had lost to Al Sadd in the last round, we are certainly able to achieve victory in this game. Our players have the desire to win three points.

“We played well against Al Sadd, we must now return to reality and play with great concentration in the remaining matches considering the strong competition.  We respect Al Kharaitiyat and their players very much. We also respect their coach Wesam Rizik, who does a great job with the team.

“We focus on ourselves so that we are ready for this game, which is a great opportunity that we want to use. But it will certainly be a difficult task,” said Ben Asakar.

Umm Salal player Mohammed Ramadan said, “We care a lot and prepare for each match with seriousness and focus. All of our players will be more alert in this match, so we can win and collect three points. I'm optimistic."
