The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held a Co-ordination Meeting ahead of the semifinals of Qatar Cup 2021 at its headquarters in Al Bidda Tower on Tuesday, 16th February, in the presence of Mr. Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication at the QSL, and Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Sayed, Head of Football Operations at the QSL.
Also present were representatives of the four competing clubs (Nadeem Hussein of Al Duhail, Nasser Mohammed of Al Rayyan, Jassim Ali of Al Sadd and Fahad Ali of Al Gharafa) besides Lieutenant Sultan Fahd Al Musallam from the Stadium Security Department.
Mr. Al Kuwari welcomed all attendees and wished four clubs success in Qatar Cup, the flagship tournament of QSL.
The Covid-19 protocol and safety aspects were reviewed, and emphasis was placed on the continuation of precautionary measures for the attending fans, including displaying green status on the Ehteraz App before entering the stadium, commitment to wear masks while attending the matches and maintaining social distancing besides the ban on all kinds of food at the stadium.
It may be noted that the sale of semifinal tickets to the public started on the official website (tickets.qsl.qa). Tickets can be purchased only online and only a limited number of tickets are issued for each match, in accordance with the procedures and guidelines approved by the Ministry of Public Health regarding sports events.
Spectators of the second semifinal will be allowed to enter the stands only after spectators of the first semifinal leave the stands, in order to ensure the health and safety of all.
