In line with the policy of continuous co-ordination and co-operation in order to reach the best technical, administrative and organisational levels, and within the framework of continuous development of Qatar football, the Qatar Stars League (QSL) held several meetings with coaches of QNB Stars League clubs and sports officials, on Sunday, 8th November, 2020, at the Aspire.
Mr. Ahmed Khellil Abbassi, Executive Director of Competitions and Football Development at the QSL, met with coaches, where the calendar for the current season 2020-21 and the approved health protocol for the next phase were discussed, and all opinions and proposals were reviewed, listening to the coaches, their comments and their points of view on technical matters. That was in order to benefit from their great experience in the development process and also in the framework of technical and professional works.
Mr. Ahmed Salman Al Adsani, Director of QSL’s Competitions Department, held a meeting with the sports officials of clubs, the calendar and tournaments of the season were reviewed.
The coaches and sports officials expressed their happiness with the discussions and by presenting all the views and opinions and comments that emerged out of the meetings. They also expressed their optimism about reaching the common targets and goals.
Exhibition match
On the sidelines of the meetings, a friendly exhibition match was played in accordance with the precautionary measures and procedures in view of the coronavirus (Covid-19), in the presence of Mr. Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication at the QSL, Mr. Ahmed Khellil Abbassi, Executive Director of Competitions and Football Development at the QSL, and a number officials and staff of the QSL.
The match was held at the Aspire Zone in a positive atmosphere, overwhelmed by enthusiasm and passion in an exciting and distinctive experience in the presence of officials of clubs.
