Lekhwiya’s Spanish Central defender Chico Flores is set to be out of action for at least 10 days, the club has announced.<br />

Lekhwiya’s official website made the announcement on Sunday afternoon prior to the Red Knights shock 5-4 defeat to Al Ahli. The former Swansea defender underwent surgery at Al Emadi Hospital on Sunday and is expected to miss Lekhwiya’ s last QSL game of the season against Meisameer, along with a crunch AFC Champions League tie against FC Bunyodkor.<br />

Lekhwiya have all but secured their qualification in the Qatar Cup competition, and will be hoping the experienced defender will be available for their semifinal match on Sunday the 24^th of April.
