Al Wakrah Sports Club will convene a press conference today 5pm to introduce the team’s new Head Coach - Mauricio who will succeed the Serbian Goran Tufegdžić.

Uruguayan Mauricio arrived in Doha on Thursday evening as both the Club Media Officer -Mohamed Al-Sulaiti, First Team official Khalifa Ahmed were at the airport to welcome the South American.

The finer details of the contract are expected to be ironed with the club’s management before he is officially introduced to the Qatari media later today.

Jose Mauricio is 45 years of age and was previously the head coach of Defensor Sporting Club in Uruguay.
