In their first friendly-match experience after returning from the overseas pre-season preparation camp and as part of the preparations ahead of the start of 2021-2022 QNB Stars League, Al Wakrah beat Al Kharaitiyat 5-1 in the game played at the Al Wakrah club pitch on Monday, 23rd August, 2021.

Al Wakrah’s goals were scored by Mohamed Benyettou (two), Gelson Dala, Hazem Ahmed and Lucas Mendes, while Pejman Montazeri gave Al Kharaitiyat’s only reply.

Al Wakrah’s Spanish coach Marquez Lopez was keen to make the most of his players, so that everyone would be ready for the start of new season.
