Al Sadd Sports Club and Lekhwiya Sports Club are preparing for their tough and highly anticipated Asian Champions League clash in the Round of 16 which is set to take place soon.

The first leg will be played in Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Al-Sadd this Tuesday whilst the return leg will be played in Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium on the 26^th of May 2015.
 
Al Sadd’s preparations commenced on Saturday evening with the team training sessions which focused on technical and physical aspects. The players had some light drills in their first training session following the semifinal match of Emir Cup against Lekhwiya which they won 2-0.
 
Lekhwiya’s technical staff led by Danish Head Coach Michael Laudrup refused to grant the player a rest after their loss to Al Sadd in the Emir Cup and instead commenced the preparations for the AFC Champions League fixture.
 
Al Sadd qualified as runners-up in Group C, whilst Lekhwiya finished top of Group A.
