Al Kharaitiyat coach Wesam Rizik spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 16 match against Al Khor.

“We know that the match will not be easy, especially in view of the competitors’ desire to win and stay away from the danger zone. We are facing our direct competitors in the table, so it is the most important match for us at the moment.

“We keenly prepared the team during the break by correcting the mistakes with the aim of making a strong comeback when the matches resume.

“I wish we would win this match and collect full points in order to achieve our goal,” said Wesam.

Al Kharaitiyat player Evans Mensah said, “The match against Al Khor will not be easy given the two teams’ desire to win and get the three points, as both sides are in a difficult position.

“Our team prepared well during the break as it was an opportunity for us to correct mistakes, implement the coach’s instructions and increase the team harmony. Now, we are completely ready to play the matches and we have determination to provide our best in order to win.

“We will do our best in this match in order to win as we know very well that Al Khor will be tough rivals because they have strong players. But we have great confidence in ourselves.”
