Al Sailiya’s goalkeeping coach Hisham Al Jaziri spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 16 match against Al Gharafa.

“It is an important match and a difficult one too. We know a good opponent awaits us. It is necessary to be ready for it. We have worked hard during the last period. We must stay highly focused in order to win. Our goal is to win and collect the three points.

“We will face a top team that possesses excellent qualities and has distinguished professional players. We know the Al Gharafa team well. We succeeded in the first phase of the league by achieving victory against them. We hope to repeat that show and collect the three points. We aim to be in the top four and that is our motivation for this match,” said Hisham.

Al Sailiya player Ali Jassemi said, “It will be a difficult match as our opponent is a strong team and ranks third in the league standings. It will be difficult. Our preparations were good and it will undoubtedly be a difficult match considering the level of the two teams. But we have to do our best together until we reach our goal. We are looking forward to winning and we have no way but to achieve victory and get the three points in order to continue to reach the top four sides in the league.”
