Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2020-21 season QNB Stars League Week 15 match against Al Ahli.

“We are in a position where we need every point and we are well aware that the next match is of utmost importance because the opponents are an organised side tactically and made an excellent start at the beginning of the league, which made them have a mentality of victories. And their team became more harmonious and performs well.

“We lost many points in the first leg, and we no longer have many options or solutions in the second leg. We must provide a better performance than what we did in the last match against Al Kharaitiyat. We must be more focused and disciplined, so we can achieve victory in the upcoming games.

“I am always afraid of my players and not the opponents, and I hope we will be on the path of victories. The winning mentality should be there in the minds of players, the goal is to win and nothing else,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Meshaal Al Shammari said, “Al Ahli have outstanding players in their ranks, especially in attack, and their team characterised by speed. But we are playing to win and collect the three points.

“I hope that our team is ready and our problem is that we miss many opportunities at the beginning of the matches, which should be taken into consideration, and we have to enter the match seriously and work to come out with a clean sheet. At the same time, we must score goals to win the three points, which is very important.”
